Chapter Seven

Jules stayed perfectly still when Remy got up out of his seat. The man’s golden eyes were dangerous and locked onto Jules as though he was prey that could be chased down and devoured.

And he so wanted that. He wanted to be devoured. Jules shivered just thinking about it, and he trembled again when Remy stood before him, leaned down, and put his hands on his shoulders.

The man leaned in and kissed him. He didn’t ask for permission or if Jules was sure he wanted this. Proof enough that this man was an alpha. He was going to take what he wanted.

Jules didn’t want to fight it. That wasn’t even an option for him. He opened his mouth, leaning his head back to allow Remy to thrust his tongue inside.

Jules moaned, something low, but what seemed loud in the quiet space of their cabin.

It shocked him into pulling back.

“What’s the matter?” Remy asked.

He might be interested in taking only what he wanted, but there was a genuine concern there.

Jules was too busy staring at the bright interior of the cabin to be able to appreciate it.

It was the middle of the day, and he was not back home where his father might be able to hear him. He could make all the noises he wanted, and he would not have to worry about a thing.

Jules looked back up into Remy’s eyes, and when he smiled, the frown left Remy’s mouth. “Nothing’s wrong,” he said, and he grabbed the back of Remy’s neck and pulled him down for another deep and lingering kiss.

Jules moaned again, enjoying the sound, the fact that he was able to make it at all, when Remy’s hands began to move.

Those strong, callused fingers slid down and around Jules’s waist, to the small of his back, and then Jules jumped when he felt those fingers work their way under his ass, gripping him tightly before Remy pulled Jules up into his arms.

Jules let out a tiny noise of shock. Remy was carrying him to the bed, to their bed. And he was holding onto Jules’s ass as he did it.

Good. This was good, and exactly what Jules wanted. He was already panting for breath, his cock hard and his pulse racing when Remy put him down onto the mattress, and Jules stared up at him.

Remy’s already large chest looked so much more massive from this angle, and the light dusting of black hair between his pecs seemed even darker as well.

Jules liked that. He liked that hair, and he liked the trail of it that led from his navel down to beneath the line of his leather pants.

“Fuck, you don’t know how much I’ve been thinking about you,” Jules admitted as Remy hooked his thumbs into his waistband and started to push his pants down without undoing the button or pulling down the zipper.

Of course, the man was not wearing anything beneath those pants. Jules should have known that a werewolf, an alpha who enjoyed spending most of his time as a wolf, would not put up with something as unnecessary as underwear.
